Hey there, readers! Here I am back talking reflection and assignment with you guys. As I've mentioned in my last week's reflection, I've just got back from holiday, as in student's life, there's nothing such 'freedom' on holiday. It is just the matter of not be able to set on your alarm and waking up early, lol. I was blessed and it was such a good feeling to be back, although, I felt a little bit numb as my holiday wasn't something typical for others. But I've managed to move on, with my family around me and my friend who are always there for me.
It's Friday, of course there would be a weekly task in our Computer in Education class. As for someone who's not very keen on ICT (hahaha), I think I really love this class, although, of course there would be plenty of tasks assigned :P A peek of being a student, don't you think? Enough with the nonsense talk, let's get back to my weekly reflection.
Today we were in our week 9 of Comp in Edu class. We were still in our last week's task, it is so because it is a continuous task. Particularly, after the online survey has been filled, we were now in our 'analyzing phase'. REPORT. Yes, we were assigned to do a report based on our online survey data, which has been automatically collected by Google Form itself. As usual, it was always so amusing to get to know what Google Form is capable of. We're asked to write our report in Google Doc, which actually really helping in communicating among team members as we don't have to personally present to write a report.
On the other hand, we've also got to know the result of our survey. As expected, it showed that students in UKM are dependent on ICT in their daily lives; doing assignment, for instance. Hence, I've got to know students are having second thoughts in choosing either to think critically or Google-ing. In short term, it is typical for us nowadays to rely on ICT, but it also concerning that students nowadays are too dependent on ICT as it could harm their thinking skills. Thus, as a student myself, I felt that we should know how to balance both methods as they're both offer benefits.
